Sr Eileen Crowley has been awarded the “Mercy Medal” for outstanding service to the health and welfare of older people in the region. Sr Eileen - Clinical Nurse Specialist in Rehabilitation based at St Ita’s Newcastlewest becomes only the seconed recipient of the award.
The Mercy Medal is awarded within the Division of Ageing and Therapeutics to individuals whose contribution to the health and welfare of older patients is exceptional. Eileen has been outstanding in her efforts to drive standards of Rehabilitation and continuing care upwards. She was presented with the award by Dr David Clinch at the Divisions Summer Dinner in Limerick on Friday 4 June.
